Meet Zaamilah Balasubramaniam, a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist with a unique approach that blends the therapeutic benefits of psychotherapy with the grounding practice of yoga. With a background in mindfulness and body-awareness, Zaamilah integrates both mental and physical wellness into her sessions, recognizing the deep connection between the mind and body. Whether it’s anxiety, stress, depression, or trauma, Zaamilah helps clients explore where tension is held in their bodies and works to release it while simultaneously addressing mental and emotional challenges, helping unlock the power within each individual.
Her innovative approach combines traditional psychotherapy methods—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based strategies—with yoga, breathing techniques, and body-centered practices.
